Oceanic+ Works With Both
Apple Watch Ultra and iPhone
YourDiveYourStory

The Oceanic+ app for Apple Watch Ultra turns the watch you wear every day into a fully capable dive computer for recreational diving, freediving, and snorkeling. It includes all the core features divers need and is refreshingly easy to use.

The combination of the Oceanic+ app and Dive Housing is powerful in defining how divers will tell their stories about their dive adventures. Divers can snap color-corrected photos and videos all while keeping an eye on dive parameters. With automatic color correction and advanced media editing, divers can capture and relive their diving memories in a whole new way.

The logbook features a carousel of pictures and videos taken during the dive and showcases at what depth and time the media was recorded. For sharing, the diver can overlay the dive profile on the photo to tell a more interesting story for their family and friends to enjoy.

The Oceanic+ app allows divers to use both the Apple Watch Ultra and iPhone with Oceanic+ Dive Housing concurrently on the same subscription, giving them the ability to run both dive computers independently at the same time.

Complex Made Simple!

All dive metrics are simple and easy to read on the large, bright display. The Oceanic+ app launches automatically when submerged and constantly calculates and monitors dive parameters. Unlike most dive computers, Oceanic+ app uses simple gestures to operate. The app provides all the safety warnings smartly color-coded to make complex information easy to understand.

Variometer

(Ascent/Descent Rate) – Track your detailed depth changes with our innovative variometer gauge; as your depth changes the wheel spins upward or downward with precise movements and color coding when you are ascending too fast, too deep, and where to maintain decompression and safety stops.

Depth

This is your actual depth during the dive displayed in feet or meters in a large, easy-to-read format. The maximum operating depth for the Apple Watch Ultra is 130 feet (40 meters) and for the Oceanic+ Dive Housing is 196 feet (60 meters).

Time

Elapsed dive time.

Safety Warning

Safety warnings are customizable and displayed as visible and haptic notifications to the diver during the dive.

Safety Stop

Safety precaution after each dive to pause for 3 minutes at 15 feet (5 meters) prior to final ascent. Note the safety stop time could be longer depending on a variety of factors including no decompression time and ascent rate.

Max Depth

Maximum depth reached during your current dive.

Compass

Access the 3D tilt-compensated compass function through the secondary screen. Take a heading and plot your course.

No Decompression Time

The tissue loading bar graph is a visual representation of the no deco time, which is the amount of time you can stay at a present depth before entering decompression.

Minutes to Surface

Minutes to surface considers ascent time with required decompression or safety stops, while maintaining an ascent rate within safe standards.

Decompression Limits

Once a diver has exceeded the no decompression limit, mandatory decompression stops will be activated and will vary based on the depth and time spent at a particular depth. We recommend even with advanced training to always stay within your no decompression limits. Your variometer will indicate the decompression ceiling along with a decompression countdown timer.

DIVE PLANNER

Get Ready to Dive!

Plan your dives directly on your Apple Watch Ultra or on the Oceanic+ app for iPhone. The dive planner calculates the no deco time based on the depth value input, gas selected and surface time. Your iPhone location planner integrates dive conditions like tides, water temperature, and even up-to-date information from the community like visibility and currents.

Surface Time

This is the total expected time until your next dive.

Planned Max Depth

This is the maximum planned depth for your next dive.

Gas Mix

Choose air or Nitrox mix (up to 40%) for your next dive.

Automatic Altitude Adjustment

The Oceanic+ app automatically adjusts for altitude.

No Fly Time

No fly displays the time until flying is safe. Countdown starts immediately after a dive is made for 24 hours. No fly time is important prior to travel to ensure any residual nitrogen is removed from the diver. After each dive, the no fly time will be calculated based on DAN’s (Divers Alert Network) no fly time.

ENHANCED LOGBOOK

Diving is Social!

Right after the dive, your data—including your GPS entry and exit location—automatically syncs to your iPhone and the cloud, where you can see a summary of your dive profile. In your logbook, you can easily sort and search your past dives and instantly share your adventures with family and friends.

Dive Logbook

In addition to seeing the classic dive profile of your depth and time, you can activate an overlaid graph with temperature information, ascent rates, and no deco time throughout the entire dive profile. Each dive log features the ability to add dive visibility, surface conditions, and currents.

Freedive Logbook
The logbook shows total session time, max dive time, max depth achieved, total number of dives, and coldest water temperature. You can view the start and end points of your dives on a map. All dives are automatically saved in your iPhone logbook, showing individual session statistics with an overall summary and detailed dive information including heart rate data from each session.
Gear Locker

The logbook also features a gear locker that allows you to keep track of gear used.

GPS Location

The Oceanic+ logbook automatically tracks your entry and exit point through GPS and will autosave the dive for future reference. No more forgetting to manually record each dive in your logbook, it’s done automatically.
