OCEANIC PREPARES TO LAUNCH ITS LATEST WIRELESS AIR INTEGRATED DIVE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
 April 23, 2006 - Oceanic has released the VT3 Wireless Dive Computer for worldwide field evaluation. The new computer features wireless air integration technology compatible with up to three independent transmitters.

With the VT3, Oceanic is bringing some improvements to the overall dive computer user experience, including an intuitive alpha-numeric display, oversized digits, LED warning light, adjustable safety stop, Alarm Acknowledgement™, conservative factor adjustment, and multiple user settings and options.
With its built-in wireless transmission technology the VT3 Dive Computer can connect to compatible transmitters and switch between up to 3 Nitrox mixes containing from 21%-100% oxygen. It also offers the unique ability to detect and monitor transmitters mounted on a buddy’s first stage with their new Buddy Pressure Check™ feature.
Users will also have new features designed specifically for free diving. The VT3 provides accurate depth and time with an amazing 1-second sampling rate for subsequent PC download and analysis. Dive Time is displayed in seconds and minutes. Custom audible alarms specific to Free Dive Mode include Elapsed Dive Time, Countdown Timer and (3) Independent Max Depth Alarms. The VT3 is the first Free Diving Computer to calculate and track Nitrogen Tissue Loading.
The VT3 comes with the latest version of OceanLog PC Interface Software and USB cable, so users can view, edit and graph detailed log files, as well as view and edit personal dive computer settings.
The device also features diver-replaceable batteries on both the VT3 and transmitters. Calculations can even be preserved between dives with their battery hot swap feature.
